Women are 27% less likely to receive life-saving CPR because most training is performed on male torsos. Womanikin is an educational CPR training device offering trainees the chance to learn CPR on a body with breasts. Together, we developed a brand strategy and identity that conveyed the strength of conviction behind the project.
Sonar is an annual music festival in Barcelona focused on electronic music and experimental production. We created a series of 30 animations for the Red Bull Music Academy showcase there to be played in between performances. Each animation was unique to one of the performers in the showcase, inspired by their sound and energy.

In 2017, the Seattle Polish Film Festival was celebrating its 25th year. The festival celebrates Polish art and film through two weeks of screenings of modern and classic Polish cinema, forums with actors and directors, and parties celebrating the work. I designed a festival program for them inspired by the somber tone of of the festival’s curated films.
Regression Radio is a techno and house music label and party based in Brooklyn, New York. I created six covers for them to start off a new mix series. The designs were created in motion and static states simultaneously. This process was chosen to mirror the obverse experiences of listening to dance music privately and seeing it in a live, active environment.
Michael J Fanuele, author of Stop Making Sense, is an advertising advisor and speaker who recently published his first book; a playful exploration of Fanuele’s techniques to inspire creative people. We designed a book cover that would mirror the positive, can-do spirit of the writing. The title is very large to draw readers, the letterforms blend together to mimic the creative collaborative process, and the dust jacket and hard cover are different to have a bit of fun.
Gardens curates live music events, drag performances, and radio shows in Brooklyn, NY. Gardens facilitates an environment where people can explore their unique gender and sexual identities through music and dance. The website, newsletter and social media images I designed for Gardens celebrates the spectrum of identity and suggests a welcoming environment. The website uses a gradient shift on hover to evoke a sense of constant fluidity and change. The compositions utilize sandy textures and off-kilter type layouts to signal a feeling of warmth and intimacy.

Ocean Uprise is an online resource-sharing and community-building platform for artists and activists coordinated by Parley, an environmental activist group. Parley needed a website where prospective users could learn about the cause and sign up for a mailing list. We designed a long form website that focuses on storytelling and bold graphic treatments to incite interest in users to participate.

Sound Transit is the primary municipal transport system for Seattle and the surrounding King County. For a student project, we were tasked with rebranding the system and creating new brand guidelines. My partner and I focused on a flexible, inclusive framework that utilizes type, iconography, and color systems to inform the rider on where they need to go. King County is a rapidly growing part of the country with people visiting and moving there from all over the world. We intended for this system to be easily accesible for a rider regardless of their background or experience.
